Designing for friends can be challenging—lots of cooks in the kitchen and you want them to be happy with your work not just on a professional level, but also a personal level. However, when one of my lifelong friends (we met in the 5th grade), asked me if I would help with some aspects of their wedding, I simply couldn't say no.
My friends requested a wedding invitation suite that showed off the wedding theme colors, hinted at the Disco party theme, and stayed within their small budget.
In addition to the custom invitations, RSVP cards, and rehearsal dinner inserts, I created a custom, retro pattern that appeared on various printed products throughout the ceremony and reception.
